Jean-Francois Cavalié is Managing Principal of the Consulting Collaborative
European ofﬁce near Toulouse, France.
He brings signiﬁcant experience to the consulting ﬁrm. He has extensive expertise in building products, construction, aluminum extrusion and manufacturing industries along with strong executive experience in start-ups, turnarounds and established companies. Jean-Francois is also very active as a consultant to international companies and works well in English, Spanish and French. His international experience spans more than two decades of general management positions in France, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
Jean-Francois has held the positions of President/CEO, Managing Director, Sales and Marketing as well as R&D Director in companies ranging from $20 million to $200 million annual revenues with considerable expertise in brand management.
He also served as Market Director and Operations Directors in a $1 billion division of a global aluminum company. During his career Jean-Francois has developed an extensive amount of intellectual property and has been awarded several patents.
He is also skilled in major acquisition projects and is very experienced in the integration of acquired companies.
Jean-Francois is highly effective working with management teams by assisting leaders in deﬁning strategies, generating alignment and creating clear accountability structures leading to increased sales and proﬁt growth. His clients learn how to build greater trust in their teams and how to effectively address underlying tensions and motivations of individual team members.
Also, Jean-Francois is a ﬂight instructor with an Airline Transport Pilot License.
He graduated in engineering from Toulouse University of Sciences as well as attended several management courses in IMD and Insead.
